Preparation

  1. Step 1

Mix onion, bell pepper, pickles, and pepperoncini. Add ¼ cup Pretty Thai® Thai Chili Sriracha (add more to taste). Chill until use.

Cooking Tip: It’s best to make the Thai Chili Sriracha Relish a day in advance for optimal flavor, but it’s still delicious same day.

  2. Step 2

In a large skillet or griddle over MEDIUM-HIGH heat, warm olive oil. Add Ground Beef and cook until browned. Lower heat to MEDIUM and stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, and ¼ cup Pretty Thai® Thai Chili Sriracha. Cook a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the sriracha relish and minced pepperoni; cook another 30 seconds. Fold in the gruyère cheese until melted. Remove from heat and reserve.

Cooking Tip: Note: We love using True Made® Ketchup—sweetened with veggies, no added sugar, and a fellow veteran-owned brand.

  3. Step 3

Keep slider buns intact. Slice each 12-pack of sliders horizontally to separate tops from bottoms. Spread butter (or mayo) on both cut sides and toast until golden. Spread sloppy joe mixture on the bottom halves. Sprinkle Thai basil on top. Cap with toasted tops and slice into individual sliders. Serve hot and enjoy!

Cooking Tip: Tip: If using a flattop, reserve one side for keeping the meat warm while toasting buns on the other side for seamless service.
