Step: 01: Season beef cubes
Season beef cubes with salt and pepper. -
Step: 02: Brown beef
Heat Dutch oven to medium heat and brown beef on all sides. Pour off drippings. -

Tips
Brown beef in single layer batches to create a crust. Overcrowding will cause beef to steam. Stew in a slow cooker for 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. -
