Meatloaf

  • 1 and 1/2 pounds lean Ground Beef

  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs

  • 1 medium onion

  • 4 ounces tomato sauce

  • 1 egg

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Topping Sauce

  • 4 oz. of tomato sauce

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard

  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Chop onion.

  3. Combine loaf ingredients.

  4. Season mixture.

  5. Lightly mix by hand.

  6. Spray bread pan with oil.

  7. Put loaf in bread pan & shape with hands.

  8. Combine sauce ingredients.

  9. Pour sauce over shaped loaf.

  10. Bake at 350°F for 1 – 1 and 1/4 hour.

  11. Cut meatloaf in 1 inch slices.
