OUR VISION
Establish a streamlined referral network that connects medical providers directly with a network of Texas registered dietitians, helping drive increased client volume and practice growth while ensuring patients receive expert nutrition guidance.
What is the dietitian referral program?
A network that will allow medical practices and providers throughout Texas to easily identify and refer patients to registered dietitians who offer local or virtual services.
Who are we looking for?

At this time, we are focusing on the Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio metro areas, along with those who provide virtual services.
Are there requirements to be part of the referral program?

PROGRAM BACKGROUND
- Texas Beef Council conducts outreach to medical offices in major Texas markets (Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio) through a team of representatives who share research about beef’s role in healthy dietary patterns.
- Medical providers frequently inquire about registered dietitian services with the goal of being able to further meet the needs of their patients.
- While Texas Beef Council’s primary mission is not to provide individual patient counseling, we are committed to facilitating evidence-based nutrition education and promoting health throughout Texas.
- We recognize the valuable work of our dietetic partners in medical nutrition therapy and counseling, and we aim to support and promote your services within the medical community.
