Pecan Lodge started in Shed 2 at the Dallas Farmers Market and has grown to be the 2nd best BBQ joint in the Lone Star State. Justin and Diane Fourton ditched their corporate careers to pursue their dream of making southern comfort food in Deep Ellum, TX. Every day people line up outside to get a taste of their award-winning brisket, beef ribs and a special dish they’ve dubbed the “Hot Mess.” For the Fourtons, this wasn’t about being the newest interpretation of BBQ, it was about delivering a little taste of home. So, you may stand in line for a little bit, but y’all better believe it’s worth the wait.
