In case you haven’t heard, September is National Breakfast Month (cue the Hallelujah chorus). We love this month for many reasons: 1) Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it makes sense that we show it some well-deserved love, and 2) ITS DELICIOUS and gives us the perfect excuse to cook up some of our favorite easy breakfast recipes.
This month comes at a perfect time, too, because with the craziness of back-to-school in full swing, easy breakfast options are an absolute must for those mornings when time is not in your side. You need something fast, you need something simple and, most importantly, you need something that’s going to taste delicious while fueling your family for the rest of the day. Which is why we’re such fans of Beef Sausage and Egg Muffin Cups!
Not only is this recipe packed with protein and nutrients, but its prep time can be chopped in half by using pre-prepared, store-bought beef sausage as one of the main ingredients. When you’re in a morning time crunch, short cuts are the name of the game.
